Find your motivation
As we all know, losing weight isn’t easy. Usually it is easy for the first 3 – 4 hours, or even for few days, then it starts to be more difficult as the different snacks and sweets start to lure you into eating them.
Motivation is the key
First thing we need to do is to found our motivation, it is almost impossible to lose weight in our well being societies if we are surrounded with food and sweet and such. Think about why would you want to lose weight? If you just keep saying to yourself; “I must lose weight” it is not long before the whole losing weight thing starts to feel like an unpleasant necessity. This will lose your motivation after a while and most likely get you back into square one. First thing to understand is that nobody needs to lose weight and you definitely do it for yourself not for the others. When you find the motivation for your weight losing, it will become much easier and will “almost” happen by itself.
There are many different working motivations, for example for someone it might even be your teeth. As we eat all sorts of candy and drink sugar soft drinks we destroy our teeth little by little. Maybe a dentist might tell you to stop eating candy and drinking soda or you’ll lose your teeth. Another is the overweight you gain over the years, when you get a pound or two now and then excess to your body you might not even notice it and care for it, but when your doctor tells you that you are overweight, it just might stop you to think about your way of eating. Especially, if the doctor suggests medicine for losing weight. This might sound an easy option, but no medicine comes without any consequences.
For women a good motivation might just be to fit into those new tight jeans, or just in general to fit in smaller clothes. It doesn’t matter what is the reason for losing weight, just it matters that you have a good reason.
These days of obesity many find their motivation of just feeling better and just to have more energy to daily lives. For someone who is overweight, just going through different daily routines feel like a big consuming task. As you lose weight, your body needs less energy to just keep your body going on and leaves you more energy to your daily life. You still must understand that losing weight isn’t a miracle trick to get a super nice life. So don’t expect too much from losing weight, you will not turn into all success machine just by losing weight. Also, getting that dream body of yours, might involve much more than just losing weight. You most likely need to exercise a lot to firm your body and to get more shape into your body. You can make this part of your journey to get fitter and better looking body! So don’t just eat less also exercise more!
One last thing about motivation. If you have, and you most likely have, tried to lose weight before think hard about the reasons why you failed last time at your attempt to get a few pounds off. You need to analyze to understand why you didn’t lose weight or did lose weight but got it back. Turn your previous mistakes as your strength this time around! Remember, keep your mind positive!
