How to tone my body by doing exercising at home?
Question:
What kind of toning exercise program would suit a woman like me, who isn’t able to go to gym due to the fact that currently most of my time is consumed by work and children. What kind of exercise machines I need to get to my home and how often should I use them? I am a mother of three, and especially I would like to get my butt, stomach and thighs firmer.
Answer:
First I would suggest you to visit and go through with a thought following websites: Butt exercising, home ab exercises equipment and ab exercising.
Then think about purchasing dumbbells, ankle weights and an exercise ball. You should schedule three times a week a time slot for a 45 – 60 minutes of home exercising. Start out every exercise session with stretching and warming up your body’s muscles through for about 10 minutes. For every exercise you should do four sets, where every set has 12 – 15 repetitions. Between sets keep a minute long break and stretch the worked out muscle.
Here is a couple of exercises to get you started:
For the thighs an exercise where you sit on a chair with your ankle weights on. Extend your legs straight, squeeze your muscles when your legs are straight and lower legs back down. Repeat.
Another exercise for your thighs, is an exercise where you stand straight and lift the dumbbells to your shoulders. Squat down until your thighs are parallel with the floor, rise back up, repeat. This is called a squat.
For your butt, try an exercise where you stand straight with ankle weights on. Take a support from a wall with your hands. Start to your other leg backwards and little outwards as well as high as you can get the leg while keeping it straight. As your leg has reached the peak, squeeze your muscles and then return the leg back down in controlled manner. Repeat and also remember to do the same amount of exercise to your other leg as well.
For the abdominal muscles, try an exercise where you lie on the top of the exercise ball, keep your feet on the ground firmly. From this position, do a basic sit-up where you lift your upper body up until you are as you where sitting on the ball and then return back to the initial position.
These exercises are just to get you started. Read those websites through and start exercising. You might look the exercises page on this website also to get more ideas for your exercises. You can tone your body by exercising at home, just make sure your exercising is hard enough and that you have weights big enough around. Exercising with light weights wont get your body toned as fast or at all. It is a hard work!
